If you place an order or create an account on our best2serve.com website, we ask you to enter certain personal data. Any person may choose to make a purchase as a guest or to register with us. Upon registration, an account is created for you. For the purpose of processing of your order, we store the personal data entered by you.

Your personal data are also made available to Hewlett-Packard Europe B.V. and its affiliated companies, who are the suppliers of the products on this website. Specifically with a view to compliance with the European and American regulations, including sanction regulations, we may transfer your personal data to third parties who will check if your orders are not contrary to these regulations. 7 Storage periods for personal data

The personal data that to provide to us will be stored to execute the contract between you and us or as long as your account is active. We must also comply with the statutory retention obligations, such as the retention obligation under tax law.

8 Protection of personal data and password policy

We use strict security procedures, for instance to avoid unauthorized access to your personal data. For this reason, we use secure connections that protect all information that is exchanged between you and our website. Furthermore, our hosting provider Digital Ocean is certified in the area of information security. 

Use a safe password when creating an account. The password must be at least 6 characters and it must contain at least one number and one special character (e.g. ! % #). If you lost your password, you can go to our website and apply for a new password. A new password will be sent to you, which you must use to log on. Immediately after having logged on, you must change the password for security reasons.

9 Email and newsletter

If you log on to our site or send us an email, the data that you send us will be stored as long as is necessary to fully answer your application or email. If you subscribe for this, you will receive our newsletter periodically. Each newsletter contains an unsubscribe link. After subscribing, you may unsubscribe for the newsletter at all times.

Best2Serve may send you emails (whether in the name of Hewlett-Packard or not) with commercial contents based on your purchases. We may ask for your opinion on our service, for instance, or on a new collection. When finishing a purchase, you may choose if you want to receive these mailings. If you no longer want to receive any product recommendations or in general any advertising messages, you can also indicate this. Furthermore, you may object at all times against these personal emails; in that case we will refer you to our contact page. Naturally, each email with product recommendations also contains an unsubscribe link.

We cannot guarantee that these third parties handle your personal data in a reliable manner that ensures appropriate security.
